humble slave: Is there anything about the BDSM scene that you could live
without?

MISTRESS MILLISCENT: Certainly.  Societies dim view of the pleasures we seek.  Bdsm provides joy and fulfillment to hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of people yet it is condemned as wrong by the outside world.  This condemnation forces most bdsm practitioners to hide in a closet, such hiding is dangerous both mentally and physically.  I hope that over time we are able to remove societies dim view of bdsm, and that everyone becomes free to express their own sexuality no matter what it may be.

humble slave: Mistress Millicent... You personally have written 2 books
containing fiction short stories on the topics of BDSM. Can you tell me
which of those stories is your favorite?

MISTRESS MILLISCENT: Not really, I just write my stories when inspiration hits.  As that inspiration comes from a wide variety of sources all the stories have a unique emotion attached to them for me.

humble slave: i believe that i was born a submissive. Do you feel that
you were born a Dominatrix or did you discover that you were one?

MISTRESS MILLISCENT: Yes, I believe that I was born with my bdsm desires.  It did take some time for me to accept and be able to express them though.

humble slave: What does being a Mistress really mean to you (personally)?

MISTRESS MILLISCENT: It means that I am able to live out the life I seek.  Bdsm is one of the foundations of my existence, it is not something I could live without.

humble slave: The BDSM scene has experienced tremendous growth in popularity,
the Internet certainly has made the largest contribution toward that. Now,
today it seems that even Hollywood and Madison Ave are jumping on the bandwagon.

MISTRESS MILLISCENT: I believe that bdsm has always had a wide following, but that there were very few ways for people to interact and discuss it.  The internet has changed all of that, and made it much easier for communities to develop.  Business will always market to identified groups, and the bdsm/fetish communities are beginning to be recognized.  Additionally, it has always been an advertising axiom that can certainly be very sexy at times.
 
 

humble slave: i enjoy being dominated by my beautiful very sexy wife. i
love being in her complete control especially when she is in a cruel and
sadistic mood. Can you describe the kind of scene that YOU find most enjoyable?

MISTRESS MILLISCENT: I most enjoy a scene where my slave and myself are able to connect on a deep level.  Specific activities are much less important to me than that connection.

humble slave: To quote you "All I need for a successful scene, is my mind,
my body and my soul."  Do you believe that there is a spiritual aspect
to BDSM? And if so. Why?

MISTRESS MILLISCENT: I do believe that there is a strong spiritual aspect to bdsm, but I don't think that I can properly put it into words.  Perhaps it is something which must be experienced in order to understand it.

humble slave: If you had a magic wand and it could grant you any wish,
what would that wish be?

MISTRESS MILLISCENT: That everyone was able to express their fantasies in a safe way without condemnation from those around them.
