A Bet On The Superbowl
I've got a little erotic bet on the Superbowl. The beauty is, no matter if I win the bet or loose, I'll get a wonderfully erotic time!

I've had an interesting few days. Things have happened that while outside of my control, certainly hold my attention so; perhaps an update is in order.
Last Saturday the Washington State Legislature met in special session to fix the massive budget hole. It was, by any account, a rare performance. They didn't spend months wallowing in indecision, rather had the entire thing wrapped up in a few short hours. Better yet, they didn't try to tax, they cut. Cut worthless, anti-capitalist programs deeply. This was an amazing result given our Democratic legislature and Democratic Governor.
Our legislators, and our Governor deserve our commendation for taking decisive action to reduce the size and cost of our state government. Excellent work.
Sunday the river started rising in front of my house, and it kept on rising all day.
Luckily the flood was not nearly as bad as predicted. Floodwaters never crossed my road, never entered my yard, and did not damage anything at my home, studio, or neighborhood.
It was though, and still is, very interesting watching the water flow by.
I live in an odd place, and there are certainly problems associated with its location, but as I always tell people who ask: that is the price one must pay to live in a postcard.
Yesterday I played tourist in my own city. Always fun, and something I hadn't done in quite some time.
A visit to the Pike Place Market, the waterfront, and dinner at Elliot's Oyster House. It was a great little spur of the moment afternoon and evening.
Outside Vanilla, the blog of the very kinky and very handsome MyKey and his lovely dominant wife, has a review of my book, and an interview of me.
If the politics of my last post have bored you to death, run over to Outside Vanilla and read all about my twisted kinky side. The questions were interesting; I don't think that you will be disappointed!
Outside Vanilla: A Review
After a great deal of hesitation I've broken down and created a Twitter account. You can sign up or follow me below:

The last little story I posted here had as its characters a dominant woman and her slave girl. So much of my blog is devoted to female dominants and male submissives that I don't want folks to get the wrong idea about me.
I adore playing with male subs, but I also adore playing with female subs, and couples are always a special treat!
No matter your gender or orientation, I'd love to talk about playing with you. If you want to play with me, send me a quick email; I'm quite certain that you will not regret it.
Those who have known me for a long time will remember my two little white Pekingese dogs, Peke & Kira.
Peke died some years ago, around the time when I moved to the mountains, but Kira held on and lived an extremely long life for a dog. In fact, I think that she outlived most of their offspring. She was with me for all of my adult life.
Alas though, early yesterday morning she died. She chose her time and place and died with great dignity and in peace. I knew that she was dying, so got to spend the last two days of her life holding her. It is an extremely sad time, but I've written in detail about her passing elsewhere and do not wish to post those feelings here.
Her body has died, but her memory will live on forever in my heart, and I know in the hearts of many of you who were also blessed to get to spend some time with her now and again through the years.
I have gotten to play, both yesterday and today. That time in the playroom has been a huge blessing as it takes my mind off the loss for a while and keeps me from dwelling on life without these most loving of dogs.
Now I'll sign off the computer and take the Red Dog for a walk. He is so much different from the others, but dogs do teach us the important lessons that life must always move forward, that loss must be borne by us all, and that love is the greatest gift we can give and receive.
I've been very busy these past couple of weeks, taking care of springtime projects.
I've taken the Airstream to the shop where it is having yearly maintenance, and some upgrades performed. The Silverado which pulls it just returned from it's own trip to the Chevy hospital.
I've been spreading a few tons of compost that I had hauled up into the mountains, it's a messy job but makes everything look wonderful and grow even better.
In the playroom, I've added a large number of new and wonderful toys, all the best from Mr. S in San Francisco.
In my house I found a wonderful antique oak drop leaf kitchen table that will look great between the two leather recliners. I just have to get it delivered first.
Lastly, and unfortunately, I managed to run out of firewood this year for the first time ever. I started with the same amount as always, but with our cold and wet spring, I'm burning longer than anticipated. That's necessitated a couple of wood buying trips these past weeks.
Life isn't only work though, and I've gotten to spend a good deal of time playing, which is always perfectly wonderful!
Tonight I'm having some people over for dinner, steaks on the BBQ, followed by fresh strawberry shortcake, and best of all homemade whipping cream.
Finally, on the great news front, a book I've been looking for the past couple of years but could not find used for less than a handful of hundred dollar bills has come out of copyright and was reprinted last month. Fifth Avenue On Wheels by Wally Byam. It is a most wonderful book, and even if one is not into Airstream trailers it would be extremely interesting as it details his travels all over the world, including Europe immediately following World War 2, and the famous trailer drive from Cape Town to Cairo. I highly recommend it.
This past week I was asked a question in email that rather surprised me. At first I thought that the question was an odd thing for someone to wonder about, but when I thought about it some more, it came to me that maybe it is something that folks who know me, or who read what I write here are curious about.
For that reason, I decided to answer the question here. If you have wondered, here is the answer, if you haven't, it's a short post, so perhaps I've not wasted too much of your time.
I'll not re-state the question, but the answer is, yes. A dominatrix does need, and should use professional services just as most everyone else in the country does.
It is important to remember that professional domination not a violation of Washington State law. There is nothing unlawful about what I do in my studio, and therefore my professional domination is not a part of the underground economy.
I use a Certified Public Accountant for my taxes and bookkeeping just as so many other Washington businesses do. I've actually got three Attorneys, two who specialize in Real Estate and one who specializes in the kinkier side of life.
My studio was built by a real contractor, a real electrician, and a real plumber. Luckily those fellows were kinky as well, so could easily understand what needed to be done and why.
Like any real estate holding my studio was purchased with the help of a bank, and I utilized all of the people and services that make such financing possible.
Unquestionably it would be possible to provide domination services via the underground economy, just as it is possible to provide just about any good or service in such a way. To do so would not though be smart. The underground economy is a dangerous place, legally and otherwise, dangerous for those who sell within it and dangerous for those who buy within it.
My taxes are paid honestly and fully each year with the help of a CPA thereby guaranteeing that I will never be accused of tax evasion. My own privacy, and the privacy of everyone I play with is assured by my attorney who makes certain that no line is ever crossed into illegality. If my studio falls over or burns down because it was built improperly, contractors bonds assure that my loss will be recovered. In my view, one is always better off engaging properly in business, in dealing honestly with the taxman and the regulators than in trying to somehow cheat. That cheating never seems to work out well in the end, the truly valuable lesson each of us should have learned from Martha Stewart.

I've been back home for a few days now, and have been getting to play a lot! Having great fun in the dungeon as always. Yesterday was suspension day, a truly amazing scene.
Outside of the dungeon, the tile guy has been at my house for a few days now and has about half of the marble installed into the new bathroom. It looks even better than expected. He hopes to be finished up by Tuesday, after that the project should wrap up with great speed.
It's another beautiful day here in the mountains, the sun is shining, the hummingbirds are humming, and the river is clear and cold.
I was saddened to not be able to post this past weekend, but things were busy indeed.
Saturday was new bathroom day and I watched and gave my thoughts on the project all day and well into the night. It's going to be spectacular. The cabinets are 'distressed' hickory that will be a perfect match for my kitchen. The double shower and countertop will be a dark green marble. Doors and ceiling will be knotty pine.
The concrete board is all in place and the tile guy should be here to install the marble in a few days. Today the rest of the sheetrock goes up, and I should be using the new bathroom in just a couple of weeks! It's getting exciting now.
Sunday was Airstream day with installation of all new flamingo décor. Very vintage! Alas though one doesn't want vintage systems, and Sunday was also the installation day for the massive new Optima battery. Very cool, it can't leak.
The sun continues to shine, what an amazing spring and early summer we have had in the Puget Sound!
June has gotten off to a truly amazing start. Simply spectacular weather.
It will I think prove to be a most wonderful month. My water system (a source of constant frustration) has been upgraded, and my remodeling project should be finished sometime this month.
The Airstream has undergone many system upgrades, and I am considering posting about my adventures in it on a separate blog.
I'll get to celebrate another birthday this month, which should be great fun.
June will also hold a short vacation, always wonderful, but to one of my favorite spots.
Lastly it seems that I'm going to get to play a great deal this month, which is truly great. It seems that I am always happiest when in my studio with a devoted submissive at my feet.
I hope that your June ends up being as great as mine is shaping up to be!
I've been writing a great deal the past two months. Postings here may have slowed down slightly, but my writing in general has exploded. I was inspired to begin writing an erotic and extremely kinky novel, as of today it's up to 55,515 words.
I plan on having it completed this summer, and I hope that all of you who enjoy reading my scribbling here really enjoy my more serious effort.
Alas, the years do seem to go by, even for a dominatrix. Next month I'll be celebrating another birthday.
I do find though that life just keeps on getting better and better. I certainly wouldn't want to be 21 again, life is just so much more fun, exciting, and interesting now. Indeed each year brings new interests, new explorations.
Each year around this time I usually get a question or two about possible gifts. For that reason I'm posting my wish list today.
I will admit to having always been a bit uncomfortable with such wish lists which is why I don't maintain one on my website as many women do. I'm certainly not somehow owed gifts, nor do I ever want anyone to feel that I am. Requests do come though, so I'm posting here. If you would like to purchase an item but don't know about shipping, just email me at blog@milliscent.com for the details.

Anything at all from the wonderful Airstream Store. Airstreams and Flamingos are both amazingly cool.
Wanderlust, Airstream at 75
Campfire In A Can, The Gas Can
Pretty lingerie for me to wear on my birthday night itself. Black and pink would be fun colors, something offering very easy access for me to wear for the man who will be granted such access to my good parts, something matching, but without easy access for me to wear for hubby who will not be granted access to my good parts. It should be a wonderful night denying one and pleasuring the other, especially as the boys will be listening to each other. You choose the shop and the style with the intended use mentioned above in mind.
Extra Credit for that truly amazing gift giver:
5th Avenue On Wheels by Wally Byam.
This book would likely have to be found through a good rare book dealer.
Some time ago I posted about a Mac problem, and the poor service received when we tried to address that problem through the Apple Stores. That problem was the unfortunate result of a spilled glass of wine.
Recently I posted about the latest problem, a spilled cup of coffee.
I should point out that despite both of these incidents happening in a mater of months, they are not the norm. I’ve managed to own Apple Computers for a very, very long time now, and I’ve never had one break, or damaged in all the years past. Just unlucky recently I suppose.
In any event, given our previous poor experience with service at the Apple Stores, when this latest problem arose I decided to take care of it myself, from the very start.
The keyboard was toast, but otherwise the laptop was working great. So, a quick visit to the online catalog selling the appropriate keyboard was in order.
Yesterday the keyboard, and the specialized tools for swapping it out arrived.
I think that this was a tough repair as such things go. A multitude of screws, all different sizes of tiny. Wire connectors so small that they could barely be seen, and sheets of sticky tape at every turn.
Alas though, the instructions were fairly straightforward, and the repair only took an hour or so start to finish. It works great, and I’ve had to declare myself an Apple Genius!
I’m afraid that I am unable to post much this weekend due to some trouble with the MacBook Pro.
In a fit of self-destructive behavior the Mac decided to drink a cup of coffee.
As a result, I’ve lost the means to use one letter, and one number. Judging it best to limit posting as opposed to filling posts with unintentional spelling errors I shall just have to restrain the posting for a bit.
I do expect to have the Mac repaired this week, so should be back to normal posting within the week.
My most recent interview is now up on Toxic Treat, you can read it here.
It is good to be back at the blog after a fairly lengthy delay. With luck I’m back to my regular posting.
I took a fairly long vacation, I suffered a thankfully short bout of sickness, and following those two disruptions I had a great deal of stuff to catch up upon, so the blog had to fall to the wayside.
I’ve not yet looked, but I imagine there are quite a number of comments that are waiting to be approved; I’ll get them posted here as soon as possible.
All of that out of the way, I must say, it’s great to be back!
I’m currently being interviewed for Toxic Treat, and am finding the questions to be interesting indeed. I’ll post here when the interview is up, and of course post an easy link into it.
My life is admittedly a bit outside of the norm. I’ve been thinking about that this weekend for I have been painting the building that houses Studio Milliscent.
Painting yesterday, painting today. Everyone who has done such a project knows just how dull it is, how much hard work it is.
Break-time is where the difference comes in I imagine. In my imagination people who lead more vanilla lives paint for a while, then take a break, likely enjoying a beer or two in the heat. Not me!
Both days’ I’ve had wonderful breaks. I paint for a while, then slowly shower waiting for my toy to show up. He does, he worships me, and he suffers for me. This wonderful play refreshes me like nothing else can, then I am ready to paint some more!
An odd life perhaps, but a truly wonderful one as well.
Slaves, submissives, bottoms.
Males, females, transfolk.
Heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, pansexual.
All are exciting to me, all are a delight for me.
Come to me, come play with me.
Come serve me.
Come obey my commands.
Come fulfill my whims.
Become my toy.

I am a 30 something professional dominatrix located near Seattle Washington, deep in the heart of the Cascade Mountains. Female domination is both my avocation and my vocation, I can truly say that my life revolves around my dominance and I wouldn't have it any other way. There is nothing I would rather be doing than standing over an obedient slave as he or she waits for my next command.
About three years ago I started blogging. A creative outlet for my short fiction, hopefully informative nonfiction, my thoughts and my fantasies. I explore female domination, fetishes of all kinds, general bdsm, and a myriad of other topics. Whatever suits my fancy of the moment. I do enjoy writing this blog, and I enjoy interacting with the people who comment upon it. I hope that you enjoy your time here.
If you are interested in a possible meeting with me, please do let me know as I love meeting new pets!
You can contact me via the email link on my main page which is located here.
I first started blogging in 2006, archives prior to May 29, 2008 can be found at the blogs old location here.
