Sex dolls seem to be getting extremely realistic. I spent a good deal of time reading about them today, and would love to read your thoughts about them here in the comments section of the blog.
I'd be especially curious to hear from folks who may own one of these creations.

My wife and I have watched a movie called "Cherry 2000" a number of times. We liked it because it was adventurous, we liked the actors and actresses in it, and at least, for me, I identified with them. The premise was a man having an artificial female who for all practical purposes was real, except she broke down due to mechanical failure.
He went on his adventure to find a replacement. And that is when he ran into a real woman. The rest is history.
I am not in a position to try artifical females for a number of reasons. One is, I am not interested in anything fake, be it vagina, cock, or footwear. To me, real is where I want to be, when it comes to experience. That does not mean I dismiss fantasy. Fantasy is a great enhancement to my well being, and I put it to good use in reading and writing. As for tactile feedback, well, maybe in the future, but for now, no thanks.

Thanks for the movie mention. I don't recall seeing it, I'll have to put it on Netflix.
I am frankly fascinated by the dolls, not for what they are, but for what they might become in another generation. I imagine that we will eventually end up with something very close to the Cherry 2000 you mention.
The pace of technology is truly amazing to me.
