Epicure In Seattle

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day here in the mountains, and it's a good thing that it was because we had a huge project to do.

My friend down the road has a house built on stilts. The floor sits about 8 feet above the ground. Alas though, the stilts just weren't tall enough, and four years ago during the big flood he had water about three feet deep inside of the house.

Yesterday was the day to raise it up, put new stilts under it, about 13 feet into the air.

A great work crew of strapping men showed up to do the work, and I was pleased to assume my role of supervisor. The house was raised successfully, so I must now consider myself to be a professional house raiser, or at least supervisor of such!

Alas though, the best part of the day was the ice cream I made for the guys. I figured that they would need a treat while working out in the hot sun all day, so I made up a large batch of the worlds greatest ice cream.

Today though, the rain has returned, and I've still got ice cream left. What to do but bake up some gingerbread to place it upon.

I've managed a weekend of wonderful deserts, what could be better?

Love reading about You supervising a crew of strapping men, Mistress Milliscent; it really gets my cteis gushing wet. Hopefully the project is completely successful for You.

bitch,

Ah yes, controlling the strapping fellows is always great fun.

I too hope that the project is successful, it would be very bad if my poor neighbors house fell down.
