Warmer in Seattle
What a difference 24 hours makes. It is much warmer here in the mountains today, not above freezing, but a lighter freeze that is allowing the ice to break free from the river. I imagine that all will be back to normal in a day or two.
Of course here in Seattle normal means rain, so maybe we should keep the cold!

I would also like to respond to your post on poitics.
I know exactley how I am voting in 2010.If a candidate is incumbent I will not vote for him/her no matter what their party affiliation is. If a bill asked for money I will vote NO. I will vote yes for any bill that will reduce taxes. And I will vote for any candidate that will support a term limit for all politicions.

I think that you plot a wise course.
Everyone understands that Congress is a problem, yet when they vote they almost always love their particular Congressman. He is no better than the others, just has the opportunity for lots of marketing to make him look better than the rest.
Your method would remove a few good ones with the bad, but on the whole would result in a better group, a group not corrupted by it's time in power.
