Disappearing Dominatrix, Travels In Washington State

I've not posted in awhile because I took some time to travel around this most beautiful of states. Specifically, I drove the loop completely around the Olympic Peninsula. Olympia to Hood Canal, Hood Canal to Port Townsend, Port Townsend to Crescent Lake, Crescent Lake to Sol Duc, Sol Duc to La Push, La Push to Forks, Forks to Kalaloch, Kalaloch to Ocean Shores, and Ocean Shores back to Olympia. It was a long, but truly wonderful vacation, a superb adventure in the Airstream.

The drive up Hood Canal from Olympia was truly spectacular, the water perfectly blue under the so very green trees. We stayed on the Canal our first night, the place we stayed wasn't much, but it was good fun anyway.

From there we were off to Port Townsend, always a fun little city to visit, and what a perfect place we had to stay. We parked the Airstream right in the Marina, perhaps 25 feet from the waters edge and spent hours watching the waves and sailboats in the Straight of Juan De Fuca. Equally wonderful was the truly superb restaurant about 50 feet behind the Airstream.

We spent some time at Crescent Lake, I think one of the most beautiful lakes I have ever seen, enjoyed a drink from the deck of the Crescent Lake Lodge.

We spent two days in Sol Duc, at the hot springs. The water was nice and refreshing, but unfortunately we were unable to use them except for during the late evening because there are no set adult hours, nor a segregated adult pool, and the daytimes seemed to be completely taken over by screaming kids.

I did though spot two delightful kinky people in the pool. He had marks left from a cupping set all over his back; she had matching whip marks on both butt cheeks. Always good to see a fellow kinkster!

Of course though the boys had to do much complaining about the other women in the pools, alas they were expecting beauties in bikinis and such seemed to be a distinct minority.

Refreshed from the hot springs we were off to La Push, a truly beautiful spot on the Pacific Ocean. We stayed in our Airstream, parked right on the beach of a little cove with rocky cliffs towering up each side. A quick walk down the beach took us to the marina where we were able to buy salmon caught just moments before. While the weather was poor in La Push, the natural beauty was so great that it was a wonderful time anyway.

That took us to Forks for lunch; Twilight Mania seemed to be everywhere. Twilight themed shops abounding. Of course there was also a bit of that in La Push, given that it is just beyond the line at which all vampires must stop.

At Kalaloch we abandoned the Airstream and stayed in a cabin on the bluff above the beach. A beautiful view, and an amazing place to wake up, but alas, I don't think that we would stay at the Kalaloch Lodge again. Too costly, too run down, and too poor of service.

From Kalaloch we drove down to Ocean Shores where we stayed with an old, dear, and delightfully kinky friend. It was great to see him again. The next day brought my circle complete and our trip ended in Olympia Washington, from the same spot it began.

Sounds like a geat trip. We did the trip winter (January) before last in our camper going the opposite direction. We stayed at the campground at Kalaloch. It was a wonderful time.

littlec,

Winter would be great fun I imagine, watching the storms and surf.

Yes, I think that the Kalaloch campground will be much better. That's what I get for abandoning the Airstream!

I have a marvelous image of you driving down the highway, dragging your airstream, dressed in fetish gear.

Long way off, nyet?

alexis,

Perhaps not all that far off.

One can certainly play in the Airstream!

Just picture this though, the Airstream colors are hot pink and black, in honor of the tacky pink plastic flamingo's. Therefore, the official Airstream toys are hot pink and black, including the official Airstream whips!

Alas though, I don't drive it, I'd be the one in the drivers seat harassing the driver!
