An Improved Seattle Dungeon
Given the horrible weather we have experienced so far this winter, I have been pleasantly surprised by the Power Company. I’ve lost power three times, but each of those outages has been very short.
Nevertheless, I’ve made a major improvement to Studio Milliscent.
It is now completely self-contained. A very large electric start generator will now provide all the electricity one could desire whenever the power lines go down.
7000 watts of pure power awaits the turn of a key!

7000 watts... a bit much to send through an electric torture device i guess... and that leaves plenty of electricity to keep the lights going.
But, Mistress Milliscent, why not let a sub use a bike to generate power for you?

Wow, you're almost self contained. Just add some tools, dehydrated food and some firepower and you can hold off for weeks during the coming Zombie Apocalypse.

Mmmmmm. Smiles. Recalls and reflects. You do really take good care of all of us little toys that come to see you. That is really awesome! Let me be the first to thank you for all you do for us. We bring our best to you too.

Wow!! 7000 watts is a lot of power and maybe a good reason to buy new "power tools" **wink**

I wonder if the makers of generators could use that as a marketing ploy....."and in the event your dungeon looses power, our product supplies enough electricity to run three racks, to suspension winches, and a stereo to play dark music while Mistress beats her slaves...."

Hope the rivers and flooding I see on the news are not near you.
Pax!

acker,
Alas, try though they might, I doubt if the pedaling slaves could make enough electricity for me!

tom,
No dehydrated food, alas I've bad memories of the taste from my backpacking days, but I generally do keep a good months supply of food for myself and a neighbor or two.
I remember the big flood two years ago, some neighbors became desperate for supplies having to walk for the most basic necessities. I always try to prepare to avoid such fates.
Tools would likely do me little good for I'd know not what to do with them, but the kinky fellow who lives down the road is very handy indeed.
As for firepower, three 1911's (two Colts, and an Olympic Arms custom job) plus a nice little Walther .40 cal ought to do the close in zombie killing quite well. The Russian made SKS oughta do well if there is ever a firefight with zombies in the driveway, and the Browning A-Bolt 30-06 should be perfect for long range sniping of said zombies.

evie,
Thank you.
The rivers are near me, but I had the very good fortune to not suffer damage from these devastating floods.
My own river here in the mountains got high, but not very high, and did not cause any significant damage in the area.
It seems that this time around the most serious flooding was lowland flooding.
