I can not imagine how difficult it is to serve our nation in such a way, either for those who have done so, or for those who are doing so.
Such sacrifice is very difficult to comprehend.
The least I can say is Thank You for your service to our nation.

Thank you for your post. I know that the world wars effected your nation in radically different ways than the US, and I'm quite sure that your words and thoughts are greatly appreciated by the vets who read this blog.
