Black Iron And Chrome

I have for sale an antique cast iron and chrome parlor stove.

This is a mid sized parlor stove that can be loaded with wood from front, side, or top. Crafted from cast iron with a heavy chrome footrest, windowpanes, and top. It includes many small mica windows.

The chrome top removes for a double cooking surface.

This is not a cheap reproduction as can be found online or in fireplace shops today, rather the genuine, and well working article.

It has been in my family since it was new. I am forced to sell it because I simply have nowhere for it to be installed, and I do not want it to deteriorate in storage.

It has been used very little since new, containing no cracks or burnt out areas. It is in 100% working condition. Even the original fire grate is intact and complete.

I also have the original paperwork and spare parts that came with the stove when new.

It was made by Washington Stove Works, and is a solid example of our areas manufacturing history.

The iron finish and the chrome are both in near mint condition. The scrollwork and lettering in the iron look as new, and the chrome has not discolored. This antique will look like new in your home.

If you would like more information about this fine piece of craftsmanship please just email me:

I am also of course willing to show the stove to seriously interested people.

$995.00

Local sales only as shipping would be a nightmare, and you must be able to pick up the stove from my home near Seattle.
