Below is the first blog post I ever made. It’s interesting to read my reasons for starting the blog, I hope that I have fulfilled at least a part of the goals I set out for it.

Why This Blog?

I think that it might be valuable if in the first post to this blog I state the purposes of the blog. Doing so will help to set the tone of the blog, and will perhaps serve as an interesting reference point as the blog grows and changes in the months and years to come.

This blog most obviously exists as a way for me to share my rather unique lifestyle as a professional dominatrix, and to give those who might be considering visiting me an in depth look into my style and my beliefs so that they can make a better informed choice.

Equally important to me, but perhaps much less obviously, it is my sincere hope that this blog serves to educate others about the wonderful world of female domination. My personal involvement with, and immersion in, FemDom has been wholly positive and a wonderful part of my life. I hope that through this forum I am able to communicate the great joy I have found to others, and help them to find that joy for themselves.

I will endeavor to post here regularly, as often as my schedule allows. I welcome comments on the blog from anyone, and emails from anyone who might be considering coming to visit me professionally. Please help me to make this an interesting and interactive forum.

I’ve watched a handful of movies recently and as they were all fairly good I thought that I should pass the titles along. All of these were quite lighthearted.

The Golden Compass was the best of this batch I think and while it was obviously meant for a young audience I did enjoy the movie. This is of course the movie that had the fundamentalists in a tizzy when it hit the theaters, I’ve got to figure that anything Pat Robertson and his ilk dislikes must be good.

Stardust was another movie for a young audience, but I must say that Robert De Niro plays a superb crossdresser!

Next I’ll mention Over Her Dead Body, the first movie in this list actually made for adults. While the story was a bit weak, I thought that Eva Longoria played her part masterfully.

Life can't all be vanilla though, I also watched Headspace which I found to be a quite entertaining bdsm documentary.

This is my first post at my blogs new home here on Milliscent.com. I’ve been blogging with Blogger for years, and Blogger certainly offers some very good advantages. The software is fun and easy to use, and the free hosting can’t be beat. Unfortunately Blogger’s decisions are rather opaque and I started to become a tad bit nervous as to the future of my blog when I noticed some femdom blogs close down, and others receive warning pages. As a result I started looking at other blogging platforms and decided upon Movable Type hosted here on my own domain and server.

The blog is still under some level of construction, so please excuse the dust in the corners.

The software isn’t as user friendly as Blogger, so please excuse any roughness around the edges as I get it all figured out.

All that said, I am pleased with this new home for my blog. I hope that all my loyal readers follow me here as I look forward to reading all of your comments upon my posts!

I will continue to make some mirrored posts to the old blog for a little while, and I will move some of my favorite posts from the archives to this new location.

I will keep the archives at Blogspot in the old location for as long as they will have me.

I am a 30 something professional dominatrix located near Seattle Washington, deep in the heart of the Cascade Mountains. Female domination is both my avocation and my vocation, I can truly say that my life revolves around my dominance and I wouldn't have it any other way.
